QueryBox is a web-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that enables users to query CSV and Excel files using natural language. The Service uses artificial intelligence to convert natural language questions into database queries.
3. License Grant
3.1 Free Tier
Subject to these Terms, QueryBox grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes with the following limitations:
- Up to 3 saved databases
- Up to 100 queries per month
- Community support only
3.2 Pro Tier
Pro tier users receive:
- Unlimited saved databases
- Unlimited queries
- Priority support
- Advanced features as described on the pricing page
3.3 Restrictions
You may NOT:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Resell, sublicense, or transfer your rights to the Service
- Use automated tools to access the Service (scraping, bots, etc.)
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
4. User Accounts
4.1 Account Creation
You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
4.2 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

You retain all rights to the data you upload to QueryBox. By uploading data, you grant us a license to process, store, and analyze your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

- Free tier: Data may be deleted after 30 days of inactivity
- Pro tier: Data retained as long as account is active
- Upon account deletion, all data will be permanently deleted within 30 days

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
7.2 AI Accuracy
While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated query results may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of results.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUERYBOX, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Any damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
9. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
